FPE Acquires Omni Plastics

Precision molder and contract manufacturer FPE, Inc. is expanding its healthcare/medical capabilities with the acquisition of Omni Plastics, Inc. of Erie, PA. The newly acquired facility will operate as a subsidiary of FPE within the division of FPE Life Sciences, LLC.

Omni Plastics specializes in molding and assembly of high-precision, close-tolerance parts for the medical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and electronic industries and further strengthens FPE Life Sciences as a leader in innovation in manufacturing for these markets.

FPE currently has plants in eight locations in North America and offers a wide variety of conventional white room and cleanroom services. Coupled with Omni's medical device experience, the acquisition allows FPE to increase its footprint in the medical device industry and continue to offer unparalleled manufacturing support to its health-care customers.
